The track was opened by Peter Matthews on 26th May 1990 and is a 130m, 6 lane synthetic straight with a LJ/TJ pit off one end. It is in reasonable condition although it does look a bit weather beaten. There is also a separate synthetic area for HJ. The straight is situated to the left of the oval shown on the Collins map. This depicts the location of a 400m grass track which is only marked out in the summer.
