US International University (Europe) (formerly) Track
The track was built by the pupils of the Royal Masonic School for Boys over a ten-year period in the 1930s when the school owned the site. It is not a regular oval and consists of a home straight with the rest of the track near circular. The width of the track is a little variable on the circular section and is about 4 lanes wide at its narrowest point. The track is in a fairly poor condition and is a little overgrown. It is believed to be 440y. The school closed in 1977 and the site was then occupied by the US International University which itself closed in 1993. The site is now owned by Comer Homes and and is due to be converted into housing in 2003.
