Gloucester Park Arena
The track was built as a cinder one in about 1979 and was upgraded to synthetic in about 1987. It was resurfaced with Polyflex 953 in June 1996 and remarked by Athletics Markings Ltd. in August 1996. In August 2001 the inside lane down the back straight and half the top bend was resurfaced. The PV runway used to be double-ended and was modified to a central bed. The covered stand was upgraded in about 1984/5. There is also a mobile uncovered stand. There are tentative plans to resite the LJ and TJ pits to either end of the PV runway so that the track can gain a full track certification. The official name of the track is thought to be Gloucester Park Arena although one sign at the track refers to Gloucester Park Athletic Stadium and another to Athletics Arena. The football pitch in the infield is referred to as the Bowl Pitch.
