Aldersley Stadium
The track was originally cinder and is believed to have opened in 1956 and is thought to have been upgraded to synthetic in the 1970s. There is a banked 458m cycle velodrome around the outside of the running track. The track was resurfaced in 1991 when the main contractor was RSL and the lines were marked in July 1991 by Athletic Markings Ltd. The track surface is of the solid system non-porous variety. The track is part of Aldersley Leisure Village and a new Sports Hall opened in September 1999 which contains an indoor straight.
