This is a 2 lane jogging track around a reduced dimensions synthetic grass football pitch within the prison grounds and was built and designed by Smith Construction (Heckington) Ltd. in 2001. The track surface is synthetic non-textured EPDM and was laid by Triple S Contractors. The lines were marked by Athletics Markings Ltd. on 12 April 2001 and the lanes are 1.3m wide but there is no start/finish line or any other distance markers. The distance around the track is approximately 201.5m in lane 1 and approximately 209.6m in lane 2. The track is near identical to one built at Pucklechurch Prison in 1999.
