RAF Croughton Track
The track was upgraded from cinder sometime after 2000 and before 2011. When cinder it was 6 lanes all round with a 7 lane straight so has effectively lost a lane on both counts. In 2000, it was in poor condition and the surface was quite overgrown. The PV runway had been grassed over although the box was still there and the double-ended LJ/TJ runway and pits were also overgrown and unusable. There was an uncovered stand for about 100 on each straight but not sure if it is still there. The track is on an RAF base which is used by the US Air Force.
