Crystal Palace Athletics Stadium Indoor Track
The track is underneath the walkway between the outdoor track and the Sports Centre. The 60m running track is at one end with the other end for the PV, LJ & TJ runways. The length of the whole straight is approximately 110m and as the whole area has a synthetic surface, it would be theoretically possible to stage 100m races. The track surface became quite old and worn but in 2004, together with the outdoor track underwent a major refurbishment which included resurfacing the indooe track. The roof of the track is relatively low which means that international standard PV is not possible. The track will be the one of the indoor athletics centres for the London region of the English Institute of Sport. The other London centre is planned to be at Pickett's Lock. Further details of the facilities here can be found under the entry for the adjacent outdoor track.
