Cardiff University Track
The track is at the playing fields of Cardiff University which is the public name for the University of Wales Cardiff, the largest constituent of the federal University of Wales. The grounds are sometimes referred to as the Llanrumney Sports Complex or Llanrumney Playing Fields. The track itself is in very poor condition and fairly overgrown but although it is obviously disused for serious athletics can still be used for light jogging. There are no usable field event facilities. 2 grassed over runways and the outline of the filled in steeplechase water jump can be seen on the top bend. An extension for javelin can also be seen on the outside of the first bend. Floodlight plylons have been placed down the middle of both straights to illuminate the centre grass pitch. There is also a small hut on the outside of the first bend. The rest of the complex is very well maintained with numerous grass pitches for various sports.
