Halton Stadium
The track was in existence by at least 1954 and was cinder until at least 1989. The surface is now grass and in fairly good condition. The HJ area and LJ/TJ runways are cinder but in very poor condition and so more or less unusable. There is an external HT only circle with a basic cage but it is unlikely to used as there is a small fence not far in front of it. The track itself does however appear to get some use the inside lane is noticeably more "worn" than the other ones. The infield is used as a football pitch which is believed to have been used by Aylesbury United FC in the 1980s. The covered stand is on the straight which has only 6 lanes and was probably the back straight as the other one is 7 lanes and has a small extension for sprints and hurdles.
