Meadowbank Recreation Centre Track
This track comprises of an approximate 115m straight joined with one bend to an approximate 55m straight at right angles to each other. The back start on the longer straight is the 100m one and so although there is a 110m line 10m past the finish for 100m and shorter sprints, 110m hurdles races would be difficult to fit in. The 150m finish line appears to be in the wrong place and seems to be at only 140m. From the back start there is approximately 157m of track. There is a sign in a club room next to the track that says the Queen Elizabeth II Park opened on 14th May 1980 but the track must surely have been built after this. The name of the whole centre is Meadowbank Recreation Centre so perhaps it was renamed at some point. The address of the local council who own the facility is Magherafelt District Council, 50 Ballyronan Road, MAGHERAFELT, BT45 6EN.
