National Sports Centre Athletics Stadium
The track opened in September 1991 and was a brand new facility. It is identical to Witton Park in Blackburn and was built by En-Tout-Cas and has an Athlaprene surface. It was originally called King George V Park Stadium as that was the name of the park where it was built. The track was resurfaced and remarked in June and July 2001 giving an Athlaprene/Polytan combination surface. The athletics events of the 2001 Island Games were held here. There are no other permanent tracks on the Isle of Man.
