The track is on a sports ground owned by Manchester City Council but leased to Loreto College whose main building is around the corner in Chicester Road. The whole site does however an air of disuse. Grass is concealing the inner and outer curbs in many parts and the track is very hard although usable. The infield is an unused cinder pitch. There are 3 narrow rows of uncovered terracing on the home straight for about 100. The location appears to be in the Hulme suburb of Manchester although Moss Side is also nearby. Apparently the track is in danger of being lost as the land maybe sold for housing.
