The track opened as a synthetic one in 1995 and has a Spurtan V surface but it is not known what here before then. It is in reasonable condition although it is a little worn. Water tends to pool in the inside lane after a period of rain. The Templemore Sports Complex gives their own address as Buncrana Road, LONDONDERRY, BT48 7QL and the building opened on 24th April 1976
